Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure)

Location: Central Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and support scalable cloud and infrastructure platforms across development, staging, and production environments. • Manage and optimise Azure and hybrid cloud environments, including compute, storage, networking, virtualisation, and platform services. • Provide cloud operations support, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance optimisation to ensure platform reliability. • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools. • Perform system patching, security hardening, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance activities. • Support cloud modernisation and containerisation initiatives using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Collaborate with stakeholders, application teams, and vendors to deliver infrastructure enhancements and operational improvements. Requirements • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations. • Hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure and/or hybrid cloud environments. • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux administration, virtualisation, and enterprise infrastructure technologies. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or Bash. • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, networking, monitoring, security best practices, disaster recovery, and infrastructure troubleshooting. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Exposure to IM8 or other regulated/government environments is advantageous By submitting your resume, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information per ScienTec’s Privacy Policy (scientecconsulting.com/privacy-policy).
