About this role
Responsibilities: • Support the Project Manager and client’s PMO team in planning, tracking, and coordinating project activities to ensure smooth project execution. • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, progress reports, dashboards, and other project management documentation. • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring any delays or risks are promptly identified and escalated. • Assist in preparing and consolidating weekly or monthly project status reports for both internal and client stakeholders. • Track and manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timesheets in alignment with client governance requirements. • Support project governance activities such as steering committee meetings and project reviews. • Ensure adherence to the client’s project management framework, compliance standards, and documentation templates. • Coordinate with various workstream leads, vendors, and cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and issue resolution. • Manage and maintain project documentation repositories and ensure proper version control. • Assist with change request management, risk and issue tracking, and lessons learned documentation. • Uphold consulting professionalism, maintain confidentiality, and foster strong collaboration with client teams. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management or PMO roles, preferably within SharePoint implementation projects in banking or large enterprise environments. • Understanding of banking back-office operations, including Trade, Remittance, Loans, Deposits, and Treasury functions. • Experience working with enterprise applications and cross-border banking platforms is preferred. • Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and coordination capabilities. • Ability to manage complex, multi-country, and system-related transformation programs. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are preferred. • Experience in SSC or offshoring initiatives is advantageous. • Banking industry project experience is preferred. • Japanese language proficiency is advantageous to support communication with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and review business documentation where required.
