About this role
Key Responsibilities • Prepare, cook and serve a variety of Chinese dishes, including stir-fry, soups, meats and seafood, according to company standards. • Assist in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating and portion control. • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with NEA requirements. • Ensure proper handling, storage and rotation of food ingredients. • Assist in stock ordering, receiving and storing supplies. • Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service. • Follow company SOPs and adhere to workplace safety regulations. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in Chinese cuisine (zichar, hawker stall or restaurant environment). • Must possess a valid Food Hygiene Certificate. • Must not have food allergies (due to handling of seafood, spices and other ingredients). • Willing to work 6 days per week, including weekends and public holidays as required by operations. • Positive attitude, team player and willingness to learn. • Candidates should note that this is a non-halal establishment. • Must be willing to learn new skills • A teamplayer
