BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD is hiring for a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager HUMAN RESOURCE (HR Ops & TA) + BONUS internship — a 12-month, on-site Human Resources role based in PLAYFAIR ROAD, Singapore. It is an unpaid internship. It is open to university students, typically in Year 2–4. About this role
Reporting directly to the Head of HR, this is a hands-on role that combines end-to-end recruitment with HR operations and employee lifecycle management. The successful candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and capable of building and improving HR processes while supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities• Manage the full recruitment cycle across corporate, operations, technical, and seasonal hiring needs. • Source and attract talent through job portals, professional networks, referrals, and recruitment events. • Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements, coordinate interviews, and facilitate the hiring process. • Deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding journey. • Coordinate onboarding activities, including documentation, background checks, orientation, and employee set-up. • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures. • Maintain accurate employee records and support HR system administration and process improvements. • Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries relating to HR policies, leave, benefits, and employment matters. • Manage employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and offboarding processes. • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, statutory requirements, and HR best practices. • Assist in HR projects, process enhancements, and initiatives that support organisational growth and employee engagement. Requirements• Minimum 8 years of experience in HR operations and talent acquisition. • Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation, including the Employment Act, CPF regulations, and fair employment practices. • Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR Information Systems (HRIS), and recruitment platforms. • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality. • Resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across the organisation. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset. 1+1 year contract (convertible to perm) EA License No: 96C4864 Reg.
