Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Job Summary Lead design and project management efforts for major engineering projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and successful delivery. Mentor juniors and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in an international consultancy environment. Responsibilities • Lead preparation of detailed design reports, calculations, and drawings to meet project specifications and regulatory requirements • Prepare and submit documentation to statutory agencies and authorities for project approvals • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design deliveries and project alignment • Lead preparation of tender documentation and actively participate in project tendering processes • Manage design, coordination, and project control activities on major infrastructure and building projects • Mentor and train junior engineers to develop technical and project management skills • Apply project management and analytical skills to deliver projects on time and within scope under pressure • Design and manage major earth retaining and stabilizing structures, deep foundations, reclamations, ground improvements, and slope stability projects • Prepare Geotechnical Interpretative Reports and conduct geotechnical impact assessments of structures and instrumentation • Utilize geotechnical finite element method (FEM) software to analyze and optimize design solutions • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and organizational goals Required competencies and certifications • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university • Eligibility for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore) • Minimum of 5 years of design experience in engineering consulting practice • Proficiency with local codes and authority submission procedures • Experience in engineering design for buildings, geotechnical, infrastructure, rail, or road projects including underground, basement, elevated, tunnel, and MRT station structures • Proficient in common structural design software • Strong project management, analytical, time management, and communication skills Preferred competencies and qualifications • Experience in design management of major geotechnical projects involving earth retaining and stabilizing structures and ground improvements • Familiarity with geotechnical impact assessments and instrumentation • Experience using geotechnical FEM software Other Information Location: 2 International Business Park, #06-08 The Strategy Tower 1 Singapore 609930 Please upload your full resume, including salary expectations and contact number.
