Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities: • Create and optimize designs for mechanical systems used in marine vessels, offshore platforms, and renewable energy installations, including High Voltage AC/DC platforms. • Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget. • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers and operation team, to ensure integrated and sustainable solutions. • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all designs and systems comply with contract specification,industry rules and regulations, and safety protocols. • Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including equipment technical specification,machinery arrangement drawing, equipment sizing calculation, functional design specification,site acceptance test and marine operating manuals. • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in marine and renewable energy technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into projects. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the marine, offshore or renewable energy sectors. • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), Navisworks and knowledge of marine and renewable energy systems. • Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with data analysis and interpretation. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
