The Engineering Project and Solutions Division (EPSD) in Air Liquide is responsible for rendering expertise to design, install and manage gas supply systems, storage infrastructure and gas handling equipment to enhance productivity, product quality and safety in our clients’ operations. The Senior Project Engineer coordinates and oversees assigned engineering projects from inception to completion. Working closely with contractors and consultants, this role provides critical technical expertise in mechanical designs, enforces safety protocols, and supports the Project Manager in budget and schedule management to ensure timely, compliant project execution. • Supervise and coordinate daily on-site project execution and installation processes with cross-functional stakeholders. • Proactively monitor project progress against defined schedules and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays. • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules by analyzing project plans, specifications, and resource requirements. • Provide technical guidance and review inputs from drafters to create precise installation plans and detailed mechanical drawings. • Maintain rigorous control over project plans through thorough reviews of designs, specifications, and proposed changes. • Verify all safety documentation and issue work permits to contractors in collaboration with site safety officers. • Support the Project Manager and procurement team in preparing tender documentation, procurement specifications, and Bills of Quantities. • Manage and coordinate vendors and suppliers effectively during the equipment and system testing and commissioning phases. • Conduct regular Toolbox meetings with on-site safety personnel and maintain accurate records of all sessions. • Support the Project Manager with project Capex development, budget estimations, and cost allocation processes. Are you a MATCH? • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline. • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in on-site installation coordination, project supervision, or EPC projects. • Practical experience in piping and equipment installation, pipe routing, and solid knowledge of process piping methodologies. • Strong ability to interpret and apply P&ID, PFD, piping isometric drawings, and equipment layout mechanical installation plans. • Well-versed in relevant Singapore and International Codes and Regulations pertaining to piping and construction. • Proficient in project management tools and CAD design collaboration; physically capable of performing site duties, with the flexibility to support project demands.
