Senior Software Engineer / GOVT

Location: Central Job Type: Contract (Renewable basis) Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications, APIs, integrations, and data services. • Own features end-to-end, from solution design and development through deployment, monitoring, and support. • Act as the 2IC to the Tech Lead by providing technical mentorship, conducting code reviews, and maintaining engineering standards; step in as acting Tech Lead when required. • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality user-centric solutions. • Contribute to technical planning, architecture discussions, Agile delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements • Min. 6 years of full stack software engineering experience with strong backend development skills and proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React) • Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs, databases, and scalable web applications. • Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and DevOps best practices. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. • Demonstrated leadership potential through mentoring, leading workstreams, or supporting technical decision-making. • Experience with AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices. • Product mindset with prior experience serving as a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or 2IC in an engineering team By submitting your resume, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information per ScienTec’s Privacy Policy (scientecconsulting.com/privacy-policy).
