About this role
We are seeking an experienced Locum Senior Speech & Language Therapist to support our multidisciplinary practice on a short-term or flexible basis. Our clinic provides specialised early intervention and therapy services across speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, educational therapy, and psychology. We take a relationship-based, evidence-informed approach, working closely with families to support meaningful and lasting outcomes for each child. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Practice • Conduct comprehensive assessments for children with speech, language, communication, and/or feeding difficulties • Develop and implement individualised therapy plans based on each child’s needs • Deliver evidence-based intervention in 1:1 and/or small group settings • Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies accordingly • Prepare detailed clinical reports and documentation (e.g., assessment reports, progress notes, IEP goals) • Work collaboratively with caregivers to provide coaching and home strategies Caregiver & Stakeholder Engagement • Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers through regular communication and feedback • Provide training and guidance to caregivers to support generalisation of skills • Liaise with teachers, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals where relevant Programme Development & Quality Assurance • Contribute to the development and refinement of therapy programmes and materials • Ensure adherence to clinical best practices and organisational standards • Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and professional development activities Administrative & Operational Support • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with regulatory and organisational requirements • Support scheduling coordination and service delivery planning where needed Requirements• Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy / Speech Pathology • Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council Singapore (or eligibility for registration) • Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in paediatric settings • Experience working with children with developmental delays, autism, speech sound disorders, and/or language delays • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with families and team members • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
