Senior / Staff Nurse (Community & Palliative| Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Senior / Staff Nurse (Community & Palliative| Contract) to join our client’s dynamic team. Job Description (JD) Responsibilities • The incumbent will be responsible for assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating the overall clinical practice setting and standard of care for patients requiring community care and supportive/palliative care in the hospital. • He/she/they will work closely with all grades of nursing staff, physicians, inter-disciplinary teams and community partners to provide optimal support to our client’s patients. • He/she/they will act as a clinical resource person to nursing staff in the management of patients and manage a practice caseload in respective department. • He/she/they will adopt evidence-based clinical practice, teaching programmes to nursing staff and community partners, and provide resources and comprehensive patient education programmes to patients, families & public. Job Requirements • Recognized General Nursing qualification and registered with the Singapore Nursing Board • Degree in Nursing or Advanced Diploma in Nursing or its equivalent in Neuroscience specialty is preferred • Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical working experience in an acute care hospital setting • Experience in community nursing and/or palliative care is preferred • Possesses good communication skills and a good team player • Able to work at the various campuses of the hospital.
