Job Summary We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer with 2-3 years of experience to design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow solutions that meet business needs. You will collaborate with teams to improve workflows, automate tasks, and deliver technical excellence. Responsibilities • Gather and analyze user requirements to prepare technical specifications and estimate impact and effort for ServiceNow solutions • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules including ITSM, CMDB, ITAM, and ITOM to meet business objectives • Build and customize platform components such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flows, Data Policies, and Catalog Items • Perform data engineering tasks including data analysis, transformation, validation, and integration from multiple sources to optimize ETL pipelines • Automate operational tasks using scripting languages (Shell script, PowerShell, JavaScript) and programming languages (Python) to improve efficiency • Provide technical support by troubleshooting incidents and problems, resolving issues, and optimizing application performance • Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices, IT standards, security policies, and governance requirements • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams, providing regular status and progress reports • Prepare and maintain documentation including processes, configurations, knowledge bases, and best practices • Demonstrate willingness to learn new technologies and support additional IT operation tools and projects such as PAM, Asset Discovery, DevSecOps, and Observability Required competencies and certifications • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field • Proficient knowledge of ITIL processes and IT operations including ITSM, ITAM, PAM, Asset Discovery, CMDB, DevSecOps, and Observability • Experience with SDLC methodologies covering requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment • Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and customization of workflows, business rules, UI components, and modules (ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, ITOM) • Skilled in data wrangling, cleaning, transformation, and integration techniques • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages including Python, Unix Shell, PowerShell, and JavaScript • Familiarity with REST API and SOAP web services integration • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web technologies • Experience in system and tools integration • Knowledge of DevSecOps tools and CI/CD pipeline design, development, and automation • Experience using Power BI, Kibana, or Grafana for data visualization and modeling • Strong communication skills to effectively bridge technical teams and business/operations users • Analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams • Effective prioritization and time management skills to meet tight deadlines • Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player with an open mindset for continuous learning Preferred competencies and qualifications • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD)
