RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is hiring for a Software Developer #IJF internship — a 12-month, on-site Software Engineering role based in ORCHARD ROAD, Singapore. It is an unpaid internship. About this role
Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and implement application systems based on user requirements and project timelines. • Explore and propose innovative ways to modernize information systems by leveraging the latest technology stacks and AI-assisted development methodologies. • Maintain and enhance existing in-house applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience. • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams for system deployment and integration. • Ensure high standards of code quality, test coverage, and participate actively in code reviews. • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications as needed. • Independently manage IT projects from initiation to completion. • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned. Requirements: • A University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline preferred. • Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience in software development and IT project management. • Sound understanding of student and examination-related business processes. • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. • Proficiency in Java, J2EE, programming. • Experience in system integration via APIs and database layers. • Experience with relational databases and ORM frameworks (e.g. Hibernate). • Effective team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
