Software Engineer (React/Java)

Key Responsibilities • Maintain and enhance enterprise Java applications, including change requests,bug fixes, performance optimisation, and system stability improvements. • Provide production support, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA). • Conduct impact assessments for system changes and ensure minimal disruption to live environments. • Implement security fixes from code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing. • Support system monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, and contribute to modernisation initiatives. Requirements • Degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or equivalent experience. • Min. 4 years of experience supporting and maintaining enterprise systems. • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience working in production environments. • Hands-on experience with React, Java (preferably Java 8), Spring Framework, and Oracle WebLogic. • Experience with Oracle/Sybase databases and legacy Java web technologies (JSP,JSTL, Struts/JSF, jQuery). • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, version control (Git/SVN), andauthentication integrations (LDAP/AD/SiteMinder).
