About this role
Key Responsibilities: • Assess and intervene – Assess, develop, plan and implement speech therapy interventions for students in accordance with programme framework, approach, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) • Service delivery modes – Work with students on a one-to-one basis, in groups, or special settings as part of a collaborative team • Caregiver consultation – Provide speech therapy consultation, support, and regular updates on students' progress and status to caregivers • Referral coordination – Refer students to the respective school team for consultation and further treatment or training when necessary • Knowledge sharing – Share speech therapy-related knowledge and best practices as required Requirements: • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology / Speech and Language Therapy or Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology • AHPC Recognition: For Singapore-based practice, degrees must be recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) • Registration/Licensure: Mandatory full registration or eligibility to practise with the AHPC • Clinical assessment skills – Ability to conduct comprehensive formal and informal clinical assessments • Therapy planning – Skill in designing, executing, and modifying individualised therapy plans • Documentation – Competent in documenting student progress, updating case notes independently, and conducting case history taking • Experience – Entry-level roles accepted, but minimum 1 year of clinical experience required • Soft skills – Able to reassure students and build trusting, safe relationships
