Job Summary You will perform motor vehicle spray painting tasks including putty application, sanding, and finishing. You will mix and advise on colour coding, clean and polish vehicles, and assist with interior cleaning during manpower shortages. You will maintain a clean work area and work independently with flexibility for overtime and weekends. You will communicate clearly with team members, and other professionals, manage your time to meet deadlines, solve problems during the painting process, and pay close attention to detail to deliver high-quality finishes. You will also participate in morning Tool Box meetings. Responsibilities · Remove old paint from classic cars to prepare surfaces for restoration · Apply putty, perform sanding, and carry out motor vehicle spray painting to achieve quality finishes · Mix paint and advise on colour coding to ensure accurate vehicle colour matching · Clean, wash, polish, and finish vehicles to meet quality standards · Clean and wash car interiors during manpower shortages to maintain vehicle cleanliness · Maintain cleanliness of the work area as part of daily maintenance tasks · Manage paint stock and consumables by ordering and maintaining inventory levels Requirements: · Nitec in Automotive/Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering preferred · Must have at least minimum of 3 years relevant experience · Work independently and demonstrate self-motivation to complete tasks efficiently · Work overtime and on weekends as needed to meet operational demands
