About this role
1. Academic Support: • Assist students with their homework and school-related tasks with accuracy. • Provide additional academic guidance in areas where students may be struggling. • Monitor and ensure that students complete their assigned homework within the timeframe or scheduled timeline. • Foster good study habits and offer personalized assistance to enhance learning. • Collaborate with parents to track students' academic progress. • Ensure students practiced, tested and ready for spelling test in school. 2. Classroom Supervision: • Ensure the safety and well-being of students under your care. • Manage classroom behaviour and promote a respectful, collaborative learning environment. • Supervise students during non-academic periods, such as recreational activities, meals, and indoor or outdoor play. • Conduct regular attendance checks and headcounts to ensure all students are accounted for. 3. Signature Programs: • Conduct Signature program timely, follows the lesson plans given • Lead students in physical activities and outdoor play to promote healthy living and fitness. 4. Behaviour Management: • Implement positive behaviour management techniques to maintain discipline and encourage respect among students. • Address behavioural issues with understanding, ensuring conflicts are resolved in a positive manner. • Reinforce values such as responsibility, kindness, and teamwork. 5. Safety and Health: • Ensure that students follow health and safety rules, including hygiene practices and safe use of equipment. • Update Centre Manager on emergencies such as accidents, injuries, or illnesses immediately. • Maintain a clean and orderly environment, ensuring that all safety and hygiene standards are met. 6. Administration: • Assist in the preparation of materials needed for activities or academic sessions as well as both English and Chinese Spelling practice/test. • Photo taking of students doing the activities. • Organize games, arts and crafts, and other engaging activities to encourage creativity and teamwork. 7. Other duties: • Any other duties as assigned required by the Centre Manger
