Student Care Teacher Assistant (Part-Time)

Work Location: • Bukit Timah Plaza / Thomson Plaza / Parkway Centre Work Days: • Days: Monday to Friday • During school term: shifts between 12.30pm – 4.30pm OR 1.30pm – 6.45pm OR 2pm – 6pm OR 2.30pm –6.30pm During school holidays: shifts between 7am-7pm • Able to commit a minimum of 3 days per week for at least 6 months Part - Time Hourly Rate: $12-$13 an hour Job Responsibilities: • Supervise students with their daily routines, including meal time, homework supervision, academic learning and recreational activities • Provide care, guidance and support to primary school children outside of their school hours • Assist the main teacher with classroom management • Assist in organising and delivery of holistic programmes (both indoor and outdoor) • Create a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment for students • Fetch the students from school • Accompany children home on the school bus after school • Assist in other adhoc duties as required Job Requirements: • Minimum GCE A level/Diploma in any discipline • Undergraduates are welcome to apply • Strong proficiency in spoken and written English • Able to coach primary school subjects adequately • Strong communication skills • Genuine interest towards guiding and nurturing children • Prior experience in student care and/or enrichment setting would be advantageous We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
