Job Details • Position: Student Management Officer • Location: Jurong East Avenue 1 • Contract Period: 27 July 2026 to 26 September 2027 • Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 7:15 AM to 4:15 PM (Includes 1-hour lunch break) Job Description Join us to support school operations and champion positive student discipline. You will work closely with the school's leadership to maintain a safe, orderly, and nurturing learning environment. Key Responsibilities • School Discipline Support: Partner with the Student Management Committee to implement positive discipline strategies. • Case Investigation: Review CCTV footage, conduct interviews, and prepare detailed incident findings. • Student Supervision: Process student late-coming, manage internal suspensions, and oversee detention sessions. • Campus Patrols: Monitor the school canteen, toilets, free-play zones, and nearby community areas. • Vice Detection: Deter and report prohibited student activities, including smoking and vaping. • Community Engagement: Collaborate with neighbourhood vendors and residents to monitor student conduct outside school grounds. • Operations & Events: Assist in exam invigilation, safety protocol reviews, emergency drills, and cohort camps. Job Requirements • Education: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in any field. • Experience: At least 5 years of experience managing youth or teenagers. • Background Preference: Former personnel from national uniform services are highly preferred. • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office for compiling incident reports and general documentation. • Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, conflict mediation, and de-escalation skills. • Traits: Mentally resilient, emotionally stable, culturally sensitive, firm yet caring approach.
