System & Virtualization Engineer

Responsibilities: • Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure project deliverables are completed within timeline, scope, and budget. • Manage project documentation and coordinate with subcontractors when required. • Perform system setup, database setup, and resolve technical or design-related issues. • Support and maintain IT infrastructure environments mainly involving Microsoft Windows OS. • Configure and perform basic setup of network switches, IP addressing, and network device connectivity checks. • Handle installation, debugging, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT-related systems and infrastructure. • Support deployment activities at project sites and comply with site security requirements and operational procedures. Requirements: • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, IT Security, Project Management, or equivalent. • Good communication, interpersonal, coordination, and organizational skills. • Experience in IT infrastructure deployment, project implementation, or related technical support environments. • Knowledgeable in Windows OS Virtualization, Database systems, and Cybersecurity concepts. • Familiar with troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure or system-related issues. • Able to work independently while also functioning effectively in a team environment. Candidates with knowledge or experience in the following areas will have an added advantage: • SQL Management Studio and database administration • Vulnerability Assessment • Software development • Access control systems such as CCTV, card readers, gantry systems, or key management systems • Redundancy technologies such as failover clustering and NIC teaming • Network switch configuration Additional Information: • 1-year renewable contract position • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM – 6:00PM • Work location will rotate between office and project deployment sites • Projects are mainly government security-related environments • Singapore-born candidates are preferred due to security clearance requirements • Training and mentorship will be provided Please email a copy of your detailed resume to vanessa@talentsis.com.sg for immediate processing.
