Location : Novena Square Position : Temp Senior Manager – One Health Office Contract Duration: 1Jun 2026 to 31 May 27 • For temp staff working for periods of 3 months or more, they are entitled to Employment Act benefits. Monthly Salary: $4,800.00 (Degree with at least 12 years of working experience) Working Hours: • Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30am to 6pm • Fridays: 8.30am to 5.30pm • (Inclusive of one hour lunch break) Job Description Singapore will be hosting two major international One Health events in 2027. To support the strategic planning and framework development phase of these events, we are seeking an Event Planning Coordinator on a12-month temporary contract from June 2026 to May 2027. The Event Planning Coordinator will establish the strategic foundations for Singapore's hosting of both international events, while contributing to broader day-to-day One Health work. The role requires strong initiative, diplomatic sensitivity, and the ability to navigate complex multi-agency and international stakeholder environments. Key Responsibilities International Event Implementation • Establish coordination frameworks with international secretariats and develop inter-agency working arrangements across relevant government agencies and ministries • Lead advance preparations with international partners, including correspondence, preparatory meetings, and protocol management in line with international standards • Ensure event planning remains aligned with Singapore's One Health priorities throughout the planning phase • Lead a structured handover to the incoming Event Implementation Manager, covering all frameworks, protocols, and ongoing workstreams • Support delivery of the first international event in the first half of 2027 before completing tenure in May 2027 General Support • Assist in coordinating One Health initiatives across food safety, animal-borne diseases, vector-borne diseases, environmental hazards, and related enablers • Help prepare communication materials and support the organisation of workshops, capacity-building events, and Singapore's participation in international One Health forums • Assist with meeting coordination, documentation, note-taking, and general secretariat functions • Contribute to literature reviews, briefing documents, and horizon scanning activities on One Health topics where capacity allows Job Requirements • Experience in international event planning or coordination, with a strong understanding of diplomatic protocol and inter-agency coordination • Prior experience with international organisations such as WHO, ASEAN, or similar multilateral bodies is advantageous • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear frameworks and handover documentation • Able to manage multiple stakeholders across different levels of seniority and work independently in a fast-paced environment • Experience in public health, food safety, or a related One Health domain is an advantage but not a requirement If you meet the requirements, please submit your resume directly to eg@businessedge.com.sg • EA License No: 96C4864 Reg.
