Temporary Retail Associate Pay Rate: $12.50 per hour Employment Type: Must be able to commit at least 6 months (must commit to weekends & Public Holidays) Working Hours: Shift work required About the Role We are looking for energetic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Temporary Retail Associates. Key Responsibilities• Provide product information, highlighting unique selling points, features, and benefits of merchandise to assist customers in their shopping needs with professionalism and courtesy. • Promote ongoing services and promotions while addressing customers’ queries and feedback efficiently and effectively. • Conduct physical counts of merchandise inventory, reporting discrepancies, defective, broken, or markdown items to the Supervisor. • Manage merchandise replenishment, transfers, and returns. • Perform routine checks on merchandise displays, fixtures, and sales areas to ensure adherence to housekeeping and visual merchandising standards. • Handle ad-hoc tasks including requisition of signage, gift-wrapping, follow-up on alterations, repairs, reservations, and deliveries. • Carry out cashiering duties with accuracy and efficiency. • Support any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or manager. Requirements• Able to commit to weekends, public holidays, and shift hours. • Positive attitude with a passion for customer service. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Physically fit to handle merchandising and stock duties. • Retail or cashiering experience is an added advantage, but not required (training provided).
