About this role
Our client, one of Asia-Pacific’s leading organizations is looking for: Test Automation QA Engineer Responsibilities: • Designing, building, and maintaining automated test coverage for APIs, services, and selected end-to-end flows • Creating and improving test frameworks, reusable test utilities, and automation patterns that support reliable regression testing • Supporting repeatable test data setup, including scripting or automating test data creation wherever practical • Validating data integrity across application, database, and integration layers • Supporting migration and reconciliation testing by building checks, comparison methods, and repeatable validation routines between source and target systems • Working closely with engineers and QA peers to convert business scenarios into scalable and maintainable automation • Designing and executing integration tests for complex workflows, service interactions, and failure scenarios • Contributing automated checks into CI/CD quality gates • Troubleshooting failed test runs and distinguishing between environment issues, product issues, flaky tests, and bad test data • Supporting release readiness through smoke suites, regression suites, data validation routines, and execution evidence • Helping improve automation reliability, delivery confidence, and technical QA practices across the team Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. • Strong hands-on experience in API automation and integration automation • Strong experience with one or more automation stacks such as: Playwright, Selenium, Postman, or equivalent automation frameworks • Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and migration checks • Good coding or scripting ability in at least one of: JavaScript / TypeScript, Java, Python • Experience writing scripts or utilities for test data creation, test setup, and data verification • Experience validating behaviour across service, database, and integration boundaries • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with environment configuration, release smoke checks, and regression execution pipelines • Ability to troubleshoot across automation, application, test data, and environment layers • Experience with migration validation, reconciliation tooling, or comparison of legacy and modern system outputs • Experience with containerized test execution and environment-aware automation • Experience using logs, metrics, and traces to diagnose automated test failures • Experience building reusable test harnesses, seed scripts, or test support tooling • Experience with contract testing or event/integration validation --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Interested applicants can also email CV at jagveer@nsearchglobal.com (for faster processing, please state the exact job / position title applied "Test Automation QA Engineer" Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EA License Number: 10C3636 EA Personnel Name: Jagveer Singh Arora EA Personnel Registration Number: R22109615 By submitting your resume and cover letter to apply for our job opening, you confirm that you have read the Data Protection Notice for Job Applicants (https://www.nsearchglobal.com/dp-notice/job-applicants) and you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data for the purpose of verifying and evaluating your job application.
