Tourist Guide

Position: Licensed Tourist GuideWe are seeking qualified and experienced Tourist Guides to conduct guided visits at PHC. Successful candidates must meet the following requirements and be available during the specified operating hours. Key Responsibilities • Conduct professional guided tours for visitors at PHC. • Deliver engaging and informative tour commentary in English and relevant mother tongue languages. • Ensure tours are conducted safely, professionally, and in accordance with operational guidelines. • Manage visitor groups and maintain a positive visitor experience. Relevant Experience Applicants should have: • Knowledge of and work experience in homeland security-related industries; and/or • Professional training and experience conducting guided tours in museums or places of interest in Singapore. Tour Operating Hours Scheduled visits (excluding Sundays and Public Holidays) will be conducted during the following hours: • Tuesday to Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. • Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Location :Tanglin Group Size Requirements• Maximum of 30 visitors per guided tour. • Minimum of 5 visitors per guided tour. Preferred Attributes• Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Strong interpersonal and visitor engagement abilities. • Ability to manage groups professionally and confidently. • Passion for heritage, security, history, and public education. Qualification RequirementsEducation Applicants must possess: • At least five (5) GCE 'O' Level passes with grades A1 to C6. Tourist Guide License Applicants must: • Hold a valid Singapore Tourism Board (STB) Tourist Guide License. • Maintain a valid license throughout the contract period.
