About this role
• Coordinate with the Construction Manager and Planning Manager to review and plan the sequence for traffic diversions and drainage diversions, considering the construction methodology and site constraints • Demonstrate strong knowledge of PUB Code of Practice and LTA standard specifications including but not limited to SDRE, CDC, and M&W specification for roadworks. Familiarity with Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) tools such as SIDRA and VISSIM is preferred • Prepare and develop Temporary Traffic Control Safety Submission (TTCSS) as well as temporary drainage schemes, for submission and clearance with LTA PJT prior to detailed submissions to LTA and PUB • Liaise with Traffic Consultants for the preparation of drawings and supporting documents, including TIA reports, for submission to LTA, PUB, and other relevant authorities • Coordinate with various LTA divisions to obtain approval for Traffic Control Plans (TCP), Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA), including managing IR and PSRD processes until full endorsement is obtained prior to implementation • Engage and coordinate with subcontractors, LTA divisions, and term contractors. To also prepare materials for stakeholder engagement and secure necessary LTA management clearances • Ensure all site works are executed in accordance with approved designs and incompliance with LTA and PUB standards. Conduct post-implementation inspections with Traffic Consultants and perform regular site monitoring to ensure safety for all road users, including pedestrians • Coordinate with consultants on submissions for Final Drainage Scheme (FDS) and Detailed Drainage Submission (DDSS) for final reinstatement works until permanent stage approvals are secured • Manage submission of Permanent Drainage Schemes to PUB and obtain Development Plan (DP) clearance • Collaborate with internal departments to review constructability of approved traffic and drainage designs, providing technical support and solutions for site constraints including installation of specialists’ systems on both At-Grade and viaduct • Support LTA CPN/SPRO teams in addressing public feedback related to traffic conditions and assist in timely resolution of issues Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or equivalent • Minimum of 3 years relevant experiences related to Traffic Engineering jobs • Experience in LTA projects traffic management & traffic diversion works • Technical expertise and knowledge in traffic/road diversion jobs • Adept with the different stages of traffic diversion works • Proficient in Microsoft Office and can use Auto CAD • CSCPM/BCSS • Good interpersonal skills • Hardworking and willing to learn
