About the Role Start your career in global finance with Société Générale’s Structured Finance Middle Office team in Singapore. You will gain hands-on exposure to real transactions across multiple industries and markets, working closely with front office, risk, legal and operations teams across Asia-Pacific. Responsibilities As a trainee, you will be actively involved in supporting live structured finance transactions: • Review and analyse legal documentation to support deal execution • Coordinate with front office, compliance, finance, and back office to ensure smooth transaction closing • Support deal lifecycle activities (closing, prepayment, loan assignments) • Assist in communication with external counterparties (including Japanese stakeholders) • Contribute to reporting and ad-hoc business requests • Work on a diverse portfolio including real estate, aviation, shipping, energy, and export finance transactions What you will learn • End-to-end lifecycle of structured finance transactions • Exposure to syndicated and bilateral loan operations • Understanding of legal documentation and risk considerations • Cross-border collaboration across APAC markets • Stakeholder management with global teams Profile Requirements: • Graduates from Finance, Business, Economics or related disciplines preferred • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) • Fluency in Japanese and English is required for the role. English is the primary working language.
