About this role
1. Corresponds with brokers and cedants with the aim of developing effective relationships within the reinsurance market to promote the company. 2. Analyses and accepts business within the capacity of the company. 3. Provide risk quotes and terms of reinsurance, under the supervision of HOD. 4. Facilitates the processing of slips and business transactions on the system. 5. Grows the business’ written premium production and meets monthly annual targets asset by HOD. 6. Ensures all business is registered and appropriate documentation is in place. 7. Prudently underwrite all business presented to the company. 8. Basic weekly/monthly reports production and review as required. 9. Offers support to the HOD for the overall production and growth of the III. 10. Provides operational support to the department and other departments. 11. Assisting meeting timelines for regularly required reports or system outputs for review. 12. Performs all other duties that may be allocated to him/her. Skill Sets & Personal Competencies 1. The ability to make sound decisions. 2. Strong analytical skills. 3. Detail-oriented work style. 4. Experience Minimum 1 to 2 years of insurance experience and (reinsurance experience is advantage).
