The Role Valet Driver (Event Arrivals Operations) As a Valet Driver, you are the most visible member of the Times Valet team on event day. You are responsible for the safe handling and movement of guest vehicles, and for maintaining professional, courteous interactions with every guest at the drop-off zone. You will work as part of a coordinated operations team to deliver a seamless arrival experience from first car to last departure. The first and last impression guests have of any event happens at the driveway. We take that seriously, and we look for drivers who do too. This is an ongoing, open posting as we run events year-round. Shifts are typically 5 to 8 hours, primarily on evenings and weekends. Consistent performers receive priority rostering and are considered first for additional engagements. Job Responsibilities • Greet arriving guests courteously and professionally at the designated drop-off zone • Receive vehicle keys, issue valet tickets, and confirm return details clearly with each guest • Drive and park guest vehicles safely in designated areas • Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage before taking custody and document accordingly • Retrieve vehicles promptly upon guest request • Assist in managing traffic flow and directing vehicles around the venue as required • Maintain accurate key management and arrival logs throughout the event • Provide guests with parking and venue information as needed • Maintain operational equipment and ensure supplies are sufficient to carry out duties • Monitor and report any anomalies to the event supervisor for immediate action • Work as part of a team to achieve guest satisfaction and operational standards • Support any other duties as assigned by the valet management team Job Requirements Education and Certification • No formal education required Experience • Valid Singapore Class 3 or 3A driving licence with a minimum of 2 years driving experience and a clean driving record • Comfortable driving a wide range of vehicles including luxury sedans, SUVs, sports cars, and manual transmission cars • Prior experience in hotel valet, event valet, or a similar guest-facing hospitality role is an advantage Other Prerequisites • Service and guest oriented with a pleasant, polite, and professional manner • Responsible, proactive, and takes initiative • Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment • Able to communicate in English for guest interaction • Able to perform shift duties including evenings, weekends, and public holidays • Able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in Singapore's humidity • Professional grooming and presentation at all times.
