About this role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Assistant to oversee our clinic's medication storeroom. This role is critical in ensuring that our medical supplies are handled safely, recorded accurately, and managed in compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities 1. Inventory & Stock Management • Perform regular physical stock counts and cycle counts to ensure 100% accuracy between physical shelf stock and system records. • Monitor stock levels and identify low-stock items to trigger timely replenishment. • Organize the storeroom layout to optimize space and ensure items are stored according to medical requirements (e.g., temperature control, light sensitivity). 2. Receiving & Data Entry (GRN) • Receive incoming shipments of medications and clinic supplies. • Verify physical goods against purchase orders and delivery notes for quantity and damage. • Perform Goods Received Note (GRN) entry into the inventory management system promptly. 3. Disposal & Compliance • Identify expired, damaged, or recalled medications. • Execute write-off and disposal procedures in strict accordance with safety protocols and pharmaceutical waste regulations. • Maintain accurate logs of all disposed items for audit purposes. 4. Clinic Data Administration • Maintain the clinic’s digital inventory database with high attention to detail. • Update batch numbers and expiry dates for all incoming stock. • Assist in generating inventory reports for management review. This role primarily based in a climate-controlled storeroom and may involve handling of refrigerate medications or vaccines. Requirements • Minimum O Level or equivalent qualification • At least 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the healthcare, or pharmaceutical sectors. • Proficiency in data entry and experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will be a plus. • Exceptional accuracy in handling drug names, dosages, and numerical data. • Basic understanding of First-Expiry, First-Out (FEFO) principles. • Capable of lifting moderate loads and standing/walking for extended periods. • High level of integrity when handling sensitive medical supplies. • Ability to keep a sterile, orderly, and efficient workspace. • Clear coordination with the procurement team and clinic staff.
