Warehouse & Logistics Assistant

We are seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Assistant to join our team at our Jurong East West Region facility. This is a contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse operations and logistics. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, supporting the movement and management of goods, and contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations. What you'll be doing • Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch accurately • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock counts • Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams on deliveries and shipments • Ensure proper storage of goods in compliance with safety standards • Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, stacker) • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse • Assist with documentation, including delivery notes and inventory logs What we're looking for • Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as stacker, pallet truck and scanner, or willingness to obtain relevant certifications • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure • Attention to detail and accuracy in recording and managing inventory • Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive manual tasks and lift heavy items regularly • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer literacy • Commitment to safety and compliance with all health and safety procedures • Reliability and a positive work ethic
