WAREHOUSE / LOGISTICS OFFICERS SINGAPOREANS/PRs ONLY ($2,500-$3,000) Commitment Period: Immediate LOCATION Jurong   OUR CLIENT A logistics company specialising in supply chain management, focusing on the efficient planning, movement, and storage of goods, services, and information from their origin to their end destination is looking for Logistics Assistants. JOB SUMMARY Logistics assistants will manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods, along with updating inventory records and coordinating transportation. These roles are crucial in the company for ensuring smooth supply chain operations and are often located in warehouses or manufacturing settings. JOB DESCRIPTION Core Functions andProcesses INVENTORY MANAGEMENT & CONTROL • Oversee receipt, storage, and issuance of stock to ensure accuracy. • Perform regular physical stock counts (cyclical inventory) and reconcile with system records. • Implement inventory management methods for inventory management. • Monitor shelf-life and manage inventory discrepancies. LOGISTICS & OPERATIONS • Coordinate with suppliers, forwarders, and customers regarding deliveries. • Process Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and Delivery Orders (DOs). • Pick, pack, and check the quality/quantity of incoming and outgoing goods. • Manage warehouse space utilization, housekeeping, and safety compliance. DOCUMENTATION & REPORTING • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and inventory systems. • Generate daily or monthly inventory performance reports. • Report non-conformance (NCRs) and manage exceptional cases.
