About this role
This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of production within the distribution area. This includes assembly, test, loading of customer-specific software, packaging, inventory control, shipping, and any other tasks required to meet production targets. Main Responsibilities: • Ensure that all applicable processes and procedures are followed during the entire order building process • Adhere to company standards and regulatory on Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines • Load customer-specific software on vision systems, barcode readers and industrial PCs, etc. • Use production orders to select the correct material and quantities to build customer kits and validate those kits against the appropriate production orders • Place material into the correct stocking location / pull material from the correct location • Use delivery pick lists to accurately pick sales order material and quantities for processing • Ad hoc duties as instructed by the supervisor About You: • High school diploma or equivalent. • 1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution center (AOC) environment preferred • High energy, self-motivated individual capable of performing order picking, system configuration, assembly, inspection, and kitting functions on customer orders • Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to always maintain an elevated level of housekeeping and inventory accuracy • Available to work overtime as needed • Prolonged periods of standing and walking. • Must be able to lift 23 kg (50 pounds) at times.
