Warehouse Support

·        Responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods/cargo within the warehouse using a forklift. This includes receiving, storing, and dispatching goods/cargo, as well as maintaining warehouse cleanliness and compliance with Safety Management Standards and regulations; ·        Load and unload goods/cargo accurately on or off lorries, vans, trailers or containers, ensuring proper handling and securement; ·        Safely operate forklift to move and stack goods/cargo within the warehouse, placing them in the correct storage bays according to inventory-control instructions; ·        Receive incoming shipments, check for accuracy, and properly store goods/cargo in designated areas within the warehouse; ·        Assist with inventory control, conduct stock checks regularly, and maintain accurate records; ·        Pick, pack and check incoming and outgoing orders for shipping according to customer requirements; ·        Identify damaged goods and report shortages or quality issues; ·        Ensure forklift operators perform daily forklift inspections, identify and report any necessary repairs, and maintain safety through regular maintenance; ·        Responsible for and involved in performing the company’s annual stock take. ·        Performing any additional ad-hoc duties assigned by your Superior or Management.
