Job Summary You will lead safety and environmental compliance efforts by collaborating with site teams, conducting inspections and audits, and supporting investigations to ensure adherence to statutory regulations and ISO standards. Responsibilities • Collaborate closely with site teams to uphold high safety, health, and environmental standards • Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with all statutory safety and environmental regulations • Assist site management in investigating incidents to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions • Ensure proper execution of risk assessments and safe working procedures on site • Facilitate and conduct audits to verify compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards • Liaise with relevant authorities on Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) matters • Execute any related ad-hoc assignments as directed by management Required competencies and certifications • Demonstrate a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) in process or industrial settings • Possess good knowledge of mechanical, lifting, and scaffolding work activities • Hold registration as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (Registered WSHO) • Exhibit computer literacy in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Preferred competencies and qualifications • Registration as an Environmental Control Officer (Registered ECO) • Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and CONSAS audit processes
