Job OverviewWe are looking for a hands-on Accountant to support the finance team on a 5-month maternity cover contract. The role will focus on financial reporting, payroll-related data compilation, and statutory compliance. Suitable for candidates with 3–4 years of experience who can work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting • Handle full/partial sets of accounts • Perform month-end closing and prepare management reports • Prepare audit schedules and support external audits Payroll & Data Reporting • Compile and validate salary increment data across the financial year • Prepare payroll-related reports and employee cost analysis • Support HR/Finance reporting requirements Statutory & Compliance • Prepare GST and other statutory filings (as applicable) • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements • Assist with government-related financial reporting Data & Headcount Reporting • Prepare monthly statutory/payroll-related reports (e.g., levy/other contributions if applicable) • Support headcount tracking and reporting across entities • Handle ad-hoc data requests and reconciliations Requirements• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent • 3–4 years of accounting experience • Familiar with Singapore accounting standards and compliance requirements • Experience with payroll data or employee-related reporting is a plus • Proficient in Excel (data analysis, pivot tables) • Experience with accounting systems (e.g. SAP, Xero, etc.) • Detail-oriented and able to meet tight timelines
