About the role We are partnering with an established organisation to recruit an Accountant to support its finance and reporting function in Singapore. This role offers exposure to regulatory reporting and financial operations within a structured banking environment. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and submit regulatory and financial reports in compliance with MAS requirements, including exposure to MAS returns. • Support month-end closing, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. • Assist in preparation of financial statements and statutory filings. • Handle tax-related matters including GST and corporate tax reporting. • Liaise with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders on reporting and compliance matters. • Maintain proper documentation and support process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency. Requirements • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. • 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit. • Exposure to financial, statutory, or regulatory reporting in Singapore would be advantageous. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems. • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
