About this role
Successful candidate should possess the following: • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or CPA, ACCA or equivalent accounting professional qualification • Minimum 3-5 years of working experiences in accounting/audit field in SMEs. • Be a hands on professional who is experienced to work independently or direct the team to improve process efficiency in ground work accounting. • Good interpersonal skills to work with other departments tactfully and a good team player. The Job: Manage company’s financial accounting and corporate reporting of entities. • Handle full set of accounts for entities to finalisation for auditing • Prepare Monthly Management reports & notes for management review & comments for company and group. • Handle all accounting related work • Maintain accurate journal entries and expense allocations • Handle AP & AR transactions, if needed. • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information • Timely submission of GST for entities and GST compliance • Filing of Statutory reports to various government agencies • Reconcile accounts and provide analysis for the organisation’s financial transactions • Ensure accurate financial reports Perform tax matters • Assist in corporate tax matters and liaise with tax agent. • Discuss with tax agent to maximise the utilisation of tax and government grants. Support working capital management • Manage accounts payable and receivables to help the organisation determine working capital needs and funding strategies. • To communicate with banks and government authorities on related financial matters Support external audit activities • Plan and coordinate the annual financial audit process • Respond to external auditors on audit data, variances and audit findings Managing Account Department • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department • To lead and guide Account Department on finance work processes • To ensure and managed all incoming and outgoing company funds and transactions are smooth and accurate.
