Our clients are seeking an Assistant Contracts Manager to spearhead our tendering processes and mentor our commercial team. This role is ideal for a senior professional who thrives on strategic oversight and team development. Key Responsibilities: • Tender Management: Oversee the entire tendering process, ensuring competitive and accurate submissions for upcoming projects. • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and technical support to team members; oversee their daily tasks to ensure high-quality output. • Contractual Advice: Interpret contract clauses and provide strategic advice to project stakeholders to mitigate risks. • Process Improvement: Review existing commercial workflows and implement best practices for efficiency. Requirements: • Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. • Significant experience in local construction contracts and tender management. • Natural leadership ability with a desire to mentor and develop junior staff. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple high-priority deadlines.
