Job Summary Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of electrical systems and equipment for marine and industrial applications, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards while supporting project execution and client coordination. Responsibilities • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test electrical systems, motors, generators, control panels, and related equipment for marine and industrial settings to ensure operational reliability. • Inspect electrical and electronic systems onboard vessels, offshore units, and industrial facilities to diagnose faults and implement corrective actions. • Supervise motor rewinding, perform overhauling, alignment checks, insulation testing, and full load testing of electrical rotating equipment to maintain performance standards. • Support electrical installation, commissioning, and functional testing of new and existing systems to ensure proper operation. • Prepare comprehensive service reports, inspection reports, commissioning procedures, quotations, and technical recommendations for stakeholders. • Conduct site surveys to evaluate electrical systems for maintenance, upgrades, or modifications, providing actionable insights. • Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations, client specifications, and industry standards to maintain workplace safety and quality. • Maintain accurate records of testing instruments, calibration certificates, and completed maintenance activities for audit and quality control. • Assist in project planning, manpower coordination, and execution of electrical service activities at workshop and site locations to optimize resource use. Required competencies and certifications • Strong knowledge of marine and industrial electrical systems. • Proficient in working with motors, generators, transformers, rewinding works and control circuits. • Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings. • Experienced in using electrical testing instruments and applying troubleshooting techniques. • Knowledgeable in preventive and corrective maintenance procedures. • Effective reporting and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and adapt to site conditions. Preferred competencies and qualifications • Experience in Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas, Shipyard, Power Plant, or Industrial Electrical Services.
