RESPONSIBILITIES • This position is for Office of Advancement (OA). • Stewardship of Scholarships, Academic Awards, Overseas Exchange Programme and Study Mission Grants: • Manage stewardship activities related to scholarships, academic awards and overseas exchange programmes and study mission grants, demonstrating the impact of donors' support on recipients' educational journeys. • Stewardship Communications and Reporting: • Produce and prepare the thank-you notes for all schemes after awarding. • Collaborate with fund recipients and execute effective stewardship reporting, ensuring donors are informed about the impact of their contributions. • Oversee the creation and distribution of stewardship reports, showcasing the outcomes and achievements resulting from donors' generosity. • Keep donors informed about festivities and events with timely communication to announce an upcoming event or celebration and to extend an invitation. • Manage special mailings, including Giving Reviews, and newsletters to maintain consistent and meaningful donor communication. • Recipient Engagement and Scholar Programmes: • Develop and maintain relationships with current gift recipients/scholars and alums, providing opportunities for their engagement and interaction with donors. • Lead stewardship events tailored to donors' and scholars' needs, fostering a sense of community and gratitude. • Story Development & Content Creation • Research, draft, and publish donor impact stories highlighting how gifts have made a meaningful difference to students, faculty, or programmes every two months. • Conduct interviews with beneficiaries (e.g. students, professors, programme leaders) to gather authentic insights and quotes. • Translate complex outcomes into accessible, human-centred narratives tailored for a donor audience. • Supporting Fundraisers • Collaborate with Fundraisers to review the renewal of academic awards, overseas programme schemes and scholarships for the AY2027 awarding cycle by March 2027. • Any other duties assigned. QUALIFICATIONS • Degree with at least 5 years of working experience. • Requires strong computer and Internet research skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, and vendors. • Sensitivity to confidential matters is required. • Good organisation and interpersonal skills with ability to function in a multi-cultural environment. • Flexible, resourceful and able to perform despite tight schedules. • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Has a strong stakeholder focus and service-oriented attitude. • Demonstrates proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
