About this role
The Associate Cancer Navigator’s core duty is to assist the Cancer Navigator in providing care and support to cancer patients for their overall well-being and improved quality of life. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in administrative duties. • Gather information and documentation from clients and their families to assist them with financial assistance. • Document case recordings according to support provided for the client • Assist to advocate and create awareness for the needs of cancer patients • Conduct regular check-ins and home visits to provide support required by the client, as instructed from cancer navigator • Support the preparation and logistics required to run programs and support groups Qualification And/or Work Experience Requirements: • Diploma in Counselling, Psychology, Social Service, Community Health • Open to work with clients of various age groups (children, adolescents, young adults, middle adults, older adults) Other Requirements: • Ability to travel for home-visits • Part-Time Working arrangements: 3 days – 4 days a week, 9am-5pm (may include weekends as required by supervisor if the need arises for outings, programs, support groups)
