Associate Consultant — Food Safety & Sustainability

Eduquest CAS is the consultancy and advisory arm of Eduquest International Institute, a leading Singapore-based professional training and certification institute. We deliver specialist Food Safety, Quality & Compliance, and Sustainability & ESG advisory services to clients in the food manufacturing, F&B, and hospitality sectors across Singapore and the region.  Our Associate Consultants work alongside our team to provide clients with practical, operationally-ready advice and documentation — helping them achieve regulatory compliance, certification readiness, and sustainability goals.  SPECIALIST TRACKS WE ARE HIRING FOR : We are seeking experienced practitioners in one or both of the following tracks:  Food Safety & Quality  Work with food manufacturers, central kitchens, and F&B operators to build FSMS, achieve certification, and meet SFA / FSSA 2025 requirements.  Specialist areas:  › HACCP & FSMS Development  › ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 v6  › BRCGS Issue 9  › GMP / GHP / CAPA  › SFA Compliance & FSSA 2025  › Halal Consultancy (MUIS)  › Central Kitchen Setup  › F&B Product Development  Sustainability & ESG  Guide F&B and food manufacturing clients through ESG reporting, food waste strategy, sustainable packaging, and carbon reduction roadmaps.  Specialist areas:  › ESG Gap Analysis & Reporting  › GRI / ISSB Framework Alignment  › Food Waste Audit & Strategy  › Sustainable Packaging Advisory  › Carbon Footprint Roadmap  › NEA / MSE Compliance  › Sustainability Training  WHAT YOU WILL DO  • Conduct gap analyses, risk assessments, and compliance audits at client sites across Singapore  • Develop and implement Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) tailored to each client's operations and food sector  • Prepare clients for ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 Version 6, and BRCGS Issue 9 third-party certification audits  • Draft practical, operationally-ready deliverables — including manuals, SOPs, HACCP plans, CAPA reports, and ESG disclosures  • Advise on SFA regulations, FSSA 2025 compliance, MUIS Halal requirements, and NEA / MSE sustainability guidelines  • Conduct internal auditor training and capacity-building workshops for client teams where required  • Collaborate with the Eduquest CAS team to uphold quality standards, branding, and client satisfaction across all engagements  WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on industry experience in food safety, quality assurance, or sustainability within the food industry  • Formal qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline  • HACCP, ISO 22000 Lead Auditor, FSSC 22000, or equivalent professional certification (preferred)  • Up-to-date knowledge of Singapore's regulatory landscape — SFA, FSSA 2025, MUIS, NEA, and MSE frameworks  • Proven ability to develop clear, professional documentation independently and deliver to agreed timelines  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you will represent Eduquest CAS directly with clients  • Self-driven, organised, and comfortable managing multiple client engagements concurrently  WHAT WE OFFER    Engagement model  Project fee or day rate per assignment    Flexibility  Work around your own schedule and commitments    Client access  Diverse F&B and food manufacturing clients    Brand & support  Deliver under the Eduquest CAS brand    Resources  Templates, tools and proven methodology    Growth  Expand your consultancy portfolio and network  ℹ  Note: Fees are agreed per Project Schedule prior to each engagement. Associate Consultants work as independent contractors and are responsible for their own income tax obligations.
