Automation Engineer (Robotics)

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Automation Engineer (Robotics / Process) to join our team. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions to streamline our processes, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality. You will work in a dynamic environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: • Automation Framework Development Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for software and hardware testing, process automation, and data integration. • Collaboration Work with cross-functional teams to understand automation requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. • Documentation Write and maintain efficient, reusable documentation for automated tasks and prepare test cases. • Efficiency Improvement Identify areas where automation can improve operational efficiency and minimize manual intervention. • System Maintenance Maintain and troubleshoot existing automation systems, applying necessary updates and enhancements. • Industry Awareness Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement improvements. • Technical Support Provide training and technical support to team members on automation tools and best practices. • Process Documentation Record automation processes, test cases, and results for reference and audit purposes. • Project Coordination Coordinate meetings with business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of automation solutions. • Key Attributes: • Consulting Skills: Ability to analyze business requirements, propose realistic solutions, and ensure project control in alignment with business needs. • Problem Solving: Analyze, implement, and support solutions until deliverables meet expectations. • Support Role: Handle tickets and assist in the support process. • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with clients to define and gather business requirements. • Qualifications: • Experience: 2–5 years of relevant work experience in automation engineering, with a focus on robotics and process automation. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux, VBA, and relevant programming languages. • Development Practices: Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) practices. • Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile development environment. • Certifications (Preferred): Certification in automation or related fields. • Industry Experience (Preferred): Experience in logistics or manufacturing.
