Barge Superintendent

About the role McConnell Dowell is seeking to hire an experienced lead in managing barges operations in Singapore to support marine works project in the East in a short-term appointment. Key responsibilities of the role include; • Responsible for coordinating and supervising maintenance and service activities on barges operations, ensuring safety and environmental compliance, promoting a positive safety culture, and managing equipment performance. • Also responsible for drafting emergency plans, maintaining communication with managers and engineers, and preparing equipment schedules. • Any other duties as may be required by the Company. About You To be considered for this role, you will have • Minimum of 10-15 years experience relevant to the operation and upkeep of JUB’s and having previously similar positions. • Trades qualification relevant to the operation and maintenance of the barge systems. • IJUBOA accreditation – desirable. • Recent JUB operational knowledge and competency. • Able to work on alternate Saturdays. • Transport pick up at Tanah Merah MRT.
