Senior Project Engineer

About the role McConnell Dowell is looking for a Senior Project Engineer for a 6-9 month period to support the execution for a major infrastructure project. To compensate for the short-term nature of this position, the successful candidate will receive an additional allowance for the role. What experience will you need to succeed? • Familiarity with infrastructure construction works in Singapore, including drainage systems, road works, and turfing works. • Experience in coordinating with Singapore utility agencies for submissions, clearances, and obtaining the necessary approvals. • Ability to liaise effectively with clients such as Land Transport Authority (LTA), QPS, and other relevant authorities on project-related matters. • Ability to lead and manage site personnel, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and coordination. What educational background should you have? • A recognised degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. • Resilience & Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, six-day workweek environment, managing high-stakes infrastructure challenges.
