Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM Coordinator specialising in Laboratory and Process Gas Systems to lead 3D modelling, coordination, and technical documentation of high-purity gas and lab utility systems, ensuring clash-free, compliant models for the Industrial and Research Centre. Responsibilities • Create, develop, and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for process gas piping, valve manifold boxes, gas cabinets, and specialized lab utility routes using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks. • Lead spatial coordination by running clash detection reports and resolving interferences with structural, HVAC, electrical containment, and MEP services through collaboration with project teams. • Ensure all BIM models comply with project BIM execution plans, industry regulations, and high-purity gas safety standards. • Generate precise isometric drawings, installation details, spool drawings, and Bill of Quantities directly from BIM models to support procurement and site installation. • Update and finalize BIM models to reflect site changes, delivering accurate As-Built data and Digital Twins for client handover. • Manage cross-disciplinary coordination meetings effectively by communicating technical issues and problem-solving to drive project progress. Required competencies and certifications • Minimum 3–5 years of BIM modelling and coordination experience focused on high-purity process gas, semiconductor hook-ups, pharmaceutical piping, or laboratory gas systems. • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD. • Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field. • Recognized certification in BIM Architecture or MEP. Preferred competencies and qualifications • Experience with BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). • Strong understanding of process piping materials.
