About FOMO PayFOMO Pay is a MAS-licensed Major Payment Institution and a member of FOMO Group, which also includes CapBridge and 1Exchange. Our iBiz division serves licensed financial intermediaries, family offices, fund managers, and corporate clients across Singapore and the region — providing regulated payment infrastructure, cross-border remittance, and multi-currency account solutions. Role OverviewAs a BD Intern on the iBiz team, you will work directly with the BD Director and senior relationship managers to build and qualify a pipeline of potential clients. You will research target segments, identify decision-makers, support outreach campaigns, and help convert referral and direct leads into onboarding opportunities. This is a high-exposure, execution-focused role with real client interaction. What You Will Do1. Lead Sourcing & Pipeline Building• Research and identify prospective clients across target segments: family offices, fund managers, licensed financial intermediaries (LFIs), corporate treasuries, advertising agencies, trading/import/export, ecommerce, and crypto/Web3 firms • Map referral networks including accountants, corporate secretaries, lawyers, MAS-licensed fund administrators, and introducers • Maintain and update the BD CRM with accurate lead data, contact details, and engagement status • Source leads through LinkedIn, industry databases (e.g. MAS FSP Register, ACRA), events, and partner referrals • Going to events, networking sessions, approach potential leads or referral opportunities. 2. Outreach & Client Engagement• Draft and send personalised outreach messages (email, LinkedIn) under BD guidance • Under the guidance of BD director, support scheduling of introductory calls and follow-up meetings between potential leads and the assigned BD. Update the assigned BD the status of the leads, so BD can provide with potential solutions. • Assist in responding to initial client enquiries and FAQs about FOMO Pay's iBiz services • Follow up with warm leads proactively to maintain engagement and momentum in the pipeline — including sending updates, sharing relevant content, and checking in at key touchpoints 3. Market Intelligence• Track competitor offerings, new market entrants, and regulatory developments (MAS, PSA, MSO, MSB, VARA, VASP etc.) • Data compilation: Compile weekly lead reports and BD activity summaries for the Director based on the CRM table • Support analysis of conversion rates, segment performance, and referral channel effectiveness Who We Are Looking ForEssential• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field • Strong research and analytical skills — able to quickly qualify leads and identify the right contacts • Excellent written English; business-level Chinese (Mandarin) is a strong advantage for regional outreach • Comfortable with LinkedIn outreach, email communication, and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace • Self-starter with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently Bonus Points• Prior exposure to financial services, fintech, payments, or regulated industries • Familiarity with MAS licensing, Singapore's payment ecosystem, or crypto/digital asset firms • Understand and able to proactively using AI tools during work • Active LinkedIn presence and comfort with professional social selling • Networking and leads generation past experiences What You Will Gain• Front-row exposure to a fast-moving MAS-licensed payments business and its real client deal flow • Hands-on mentorship from the BD Director and senior team members • Direct experience engaging with financial intermediaries, family offices, and institutional clients • Understanding of Singapore's regulatory environment (PSA, MAS, Travel Rule, KYC/AML) • A tangible track record of pipeline contribution you can speak to in future job applications • Opportunity to convert to a full-time BD role based on performance
