Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and responsible Cafe Cook to support daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and quality control. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment and takes pride in delivering consistent food quality. Responsibilities • Prepare café food items such as brunch dishes, light mains, and side dishes following standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality • Assist with plating desserts, waffles, bingsu, and simple pastries to meet presentation standards • Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation by applying proper cooking and finishing techniques • Follow food handling, storage, and hygiene practices to ensure kitchen safety and compliance • Support daily mise en place by preparing ingredients and organizing kitchen stations for efficient service • Clean and organize kitchen workstations to maintain a safe and tidy environment • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control to ensure availability of ingredients • Adhere to kitchen safety procedures and company standards during all food preparation activities Preferred competencies and qualifications • Minimum 1 year experience in a café, restaurant, or kitchen environment • Basic knowledge of café food preparation techniques • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment • Responsible, disciplined, and eager to learn new skills • Positive attitude with strong teamwork spirit • Availability to work on weekends and public holidays What we Offer • Stable working environment within a growing brand • Career progression opportunities as the company expands • Training & development support • Friendly & supportive team culture
