Chartering Intern

• Supporting the tendering team on preparing the Vessel’s technical specification and review • Supporting the tendering team in specific sections as and when assigned • Working with programming team in Chennai to continue to develop the Chartering team in digitalization • Supporting the Chartering team in strategic market analysis and intelligence • Supporting the Chartering team in issuance of invoices to Charterers (i.e. our client) • Other specific duties as and when assigned • The intern would be taking charge of digitalization project (known as the Chartering module) during their stint with the Chartering department • He/She will be in charge of spearheading the weekly meeting with the programming team to ensure the milestone completion is met • He/She will be directly coach and guided by their immediate supervisor to ensure proper instructions is being cascaded to the programming team to ensure the development of the software is on the right track. • He/She will have direct access to the supervisor enabling the learning to be comprehensive Desired Attributes • Good working attitude • Eyes for detail • Good with MicrosoftOffice Tools • Analytical ability • Able to work under pressure and tight timeline Academic Background Ongoing degree or diploma in Maritime Studies or a related discipline. Internship Period : July 2026 to Dec 2026 Well verse in Microsoft excel/access functions would be an added advantage
