Cloud Engineer at Telok Ayer, $4,000-$6,000+1 month completion bonus (Office hours)

- 1 year contract (convertible based on performance) - $4,000 - $6,000+ 1 month completion bonus - Mon–Fri 9am–6pm - Telok Ayer Overview: • Part of the Cloud team (Global Infrastructure) which manages all of the company’s cloud environments with emphasis on Cloud Operations. • Collaborate with other IT and business teams to deliver cloud solutions. • Manage and cooperate with external partners whom provide SaaS solutions or professional services. • Regular review of Cloud Ops functions making/recommending enhancements. Job Responsibilities: • Part of the Cloud Ops team which manages for all of the company’s cloud environments (Google / Azure / Alicloud) globally. • Provide support for all tooling / SaaS applications under Cloud teams scope of work (Akamai / SMTP / Cloudfl are / etc…). • Research on and implement enhancements to current technology stacks / processes / procedures. • Involved in both global / Regional projects delivery, management and operations. • Work closely with external parties, vendors and other teams (including GHQ & Regions) for both BAU and project delivery / support.  Period: • 1 year contract (convertible based on performance)   Location: • Telok Ayer  Working hours: • Mon–Fri 9am–6pm Salary: • $4,000 - $6,000+ 1 month completion bonus   Job Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience supporting the following cloud environments, with hands on involvement in cloud operations and project implementation.Google Cloud (Primary)Microsoft Azure (Secondary)Alicloud (Secondary) • Bachelor’s degree in IT, or a related discipline. • Technical Knowledge: • Strong Cloud Ops technical knowledge in Google Cloud Platform & Azure • Able to design / build / maintain core cloud based resources • Strong knowledge in Linux / Windows / Kubernetes operating environments • Scripting (added advantage with knowledge in Powershell / Terraform / Ansible / Python) • Microsoft O365 administration • Akamai CDN / WAF • Citrix VPN • IT vulnerability assessment, remediation and audits • Confluent Kafka (Connector managed and unmanaged, Topics, IAM management) • SMTP / DNS services • Google Cloud Platform (Mandatory): • Virtual Machines (Windows / Linux) • Google Kubernetes Engine (Mandatory) • VPC / Shared VPCs (including Firewalls / Private Service Networks / Load Balancers / Network routing / Interconnect / etc...) • Identity Access Management - Storage (Blob / Containers) • Bigquery (added advantage with knowledge in Bigquery / Datasets / Views) • Redis • Monitoring / Alerts • Backup (Native) • Patch Management (Native) • Log Analytics (Native) • Disaster Recovery (Native) • Microsoft Azure (Mandatory): • Virtual Machines (Windows / Linux) • App Service • Virtual Networks (including Firewalls / Load Balancers / Network routing / VPN / vWAN, etc...) • Managed SQL (MSSQL) • Storage • Redis • Identity Access Management Monitoring / Alerts (Native) • Backup (Native) • Patch Management (Native) • Log Analytics (Native) • Disaster Recovery (Native) • General Skills: • IT Audit reviews (Evidence gathering / Remediation) • Project Management (Resource planning / Design / Implementation / Scheduling) • IT Governance • IT Standard Operational Procedures (Request / Change / Incident Management) • IT Security Awareness • Some knowledge in management of on premise hardware (Break fi x for IBM / HP servers / EMC storage / Tape Libraries / etc...) • Soft Skills: • Able to work independently and cohesively with both the immediate team and other members across the organization (including 3rd parties) • Show initiative, responsibility and accountability to the tasks under ownership • Possess initiative, be self-motivated, and a willingness to learn • Adaptive to changes • Ability to communicate with all stakeholders from various levels and backgrounds Interested applicants, kindly email your detailed resume (MS Word format is preferred): zikry@successhrc.com.sg (Reg No: R2198989) Please ensure that applications sent through email are no bigger than 1Mb.
