NTT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is hiring for a Cloud Migration Technical Lead -Contract internship — a 12-month, hybrid Design role based in Singapore. It is an unpaid internship. It is open to university students, typically in Year 2–4. Applicants with experience in Liaising with cross functional teams, Migration Projects, Computing, Backup, and Azure are a strong fit.

Job Description & Requirements: • Lead end-to-end VM migration activities from on-premise to Azure using tools such as Azure Migrate. • Plan and execute migration strategies including rehost,replatform, and modernization approaches. • Ensure all migration phases (assessment, design, execution,validation, cutover, and stabilization) are delivered cohesively. • Identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies for migration workloads. • Provide technical assurance, governance, and escalation support throughout the migration lifecycle. • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to align migration outcomes with business objectives. Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering • Design and implement Azure Virtual Machine environments and hybrid networking solutions. • Support infrastructure modernization initiatives including DR, backup, and high availability solutions. • Ensure best practices in performance, scalability, security, and cost optimization. Advanced Technical Support &Operations • Work independently with general direction to resolve escalated incidents and service requests within SLA timelines. • Provide fourth-level support for complex incidents and perform deep root cause analysis. • Proactively monitor, identify, and resolve issues before they impact services. • Act as an escalation point for critical client and business-impacting incidents. • Maintain accurate and timely ticket updates, ensuring proper documentation of resolution activities. Service Delivery & Process Excellence • Ensure delivery of contracted managed services outcomes and continuous service improvement. • Support, track, and document change implementation activities • Proactively identify opportunities for automation and operational optimization. • Perform quality audits across processes, service experience, and ticket management. • Contribute to disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution. • Collaboration, Leadership & Knowledge Sharing • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery. • Mentor and coach L1–L3 engineers, sharing knowledge and driving technical capability uplift. • Support project delivery activities within the technology domain as required. • Act as a subject matter expert across cloud and infrastructure domains. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 8–12 years of overall IT infrastructure and project delivery experience. • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Azure migration projects. Strong expertise in: • Azure Migrate and Azure Virtual Machines • Windows and Linux server migration • Hybrid networking and connectivity • Infrastructure modernization(DR, backup, HA) • Migration governance and delivery frameworks • Proven experience inlarge-scale enterprise migration projects. • Strong troubleshooting skills across multi-domain environments (cloud, networking, security, compute) • Experience working within ITIL-based service management environments. Preferred certifications: • Microsoft Certified: AzureSolutions Architect Expert • Azure Administrator / AzureMigration certifications • VMware, Networking (CCNP/CCIE),or Security certifications (CISSP, etc.) • Additional certifications across cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise platforms are advantageous.
